Team Freedom Welcomes Two New Players

After climbing to the top to compete in the 2017 Heroes Global Championship (HGC) hosted at Blizzcon, Team Freedom is excited to announce some new roster changes to welcome in a new and exciting year of Heroes of the Storm (HotS). The professional gaming organization welcomes two new members Orie “YoDa” Guo and Vincent “Lutano” Alonso.

When asked about his decision to join Team Freedom, YoDa had this to say, “I chose Team Freedom because they have lots of potential, from the start of HGC everyone thought they would be a crucible level team but at the end of the year they were among the best in NA.” YoDa also competed in the 2017 season of HGC, “What set me apart from the other applicants I think was my experience in pro mobas (12 yrs) and performance at LAN. “ YoDa radiates his passion for competition and will settle for nothing short of winning Blizzcon.

Lutano also exudes greatness saying, “I think they [Team Freedom] chose me as a teammate because I put in more time into my individual practice than 90% of the other pros, and I performed well on Even In Death.” Lutano brings a variety of roles and heroes to Team Freedom’s roster with his favorite role as assassin. Lutano has been playing HotS casually since Alpha, but his focus has been on school at the University of Maryland where he graduated with a degree in Computer Science. He is now ready to tackle the challenge of professional gaming and looks forward to proving his worth.
